For privacy protocols with an encrpytion key size with more than 128bit, unlimited strength encryption support is needed by the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). You can download it from JCE 7 Unlimited Strength Policy Files.

Please follow the enclosed documentation in the ZIP file to install the policy files into your JRE.

After have you have the right policy files in place, the privacy protocols 3DES, AES192, and AES256 will work as expected and in the same way as DES and AES128.
